IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BOOK CLUB TOUR
21 – 28 June 2027 · Scotland · Twelve travellers
Eight days through the Scotland that writers have been trying to describe for four hundred years, in the company of people who have read the books. We begin in Edinburgh and work north — Fort William, Dunkeld, Inverness — through the glens and along the coast roads, stopping where the stories are.
This journey is hosted with Vanessa and Tamara of The Book Club Tour. They bring the reading. We bring Scotland.
Where we stay
- Edinburgh — the literary lanes, the Old Town, the closes behind the Royal Mile
- Fort William — at the foot of Ben Nevis, gateway to Glencoe
- Dunkeld — cathedral ruins and Perthshire woodland
- Inverness — the Highland capital and the road to the north
What is included
- Seven nights’ accommodation
- Breakfast daily, five dinners and two afternoon teas
- All entrance fees and activities
- Private minibus throughout
- Dinner with a Scottish author
- A pre-trip book club with reading guides and optional Zoom calls

Before you go
The reading starts months before the flight. You will receive guides for each book, and there are optional calls to talk them through together, so that by the time you arrive you are not seeing Scotland for the first time — you are recognising it.
